[[''No thanks''->End]], I have all the information I need for now.### Password Management
Once a hacker has your information, they are likely to use those details to try and gain access to more of your accounts.
A hacker's normal goal is to find a way to gain financial advantage from your accounts.
It is vital that to stop this from happening you use different passwords on every different account you have.
As it is impossible to remember that many passwords, it is important to use a tool that can help you record that information.
A Password Manager like LastPass will enable you to securely generate and store your passwords, helping to make your life easier and more secure.
''Advantages:''
* Quickly and easily log in to sites.
* Generate unique and complex passwords automatically.
* Record which sites you have accounts for.
''Tool:''
LastPass is a password manager tool (you can visit their website here). There are plenty of other options for password managers and so make sure you do a bit of research before committing to one
Here is a playlist of short explainer videos to help get you started with LastPass

[[Back->Tools]] ### Email Management
You should try to avoid using the same email address to make it harder for hackers. As it would be very hard to create a new email address for each new account, you can use services that allow you to have email alias'. That means, even though the email address looks different, the email is still recieved in your normal email account.
''Advantages:''
* Increases complexity for hackers.
* Reduce spam.
''Tool:''
33 Mail is a clever service that allows you to create as many alias' as you need and when one particular email alias is getting too much spam, you can just turn that email address off.
You can view their website here.

''Tools:''
* Sudo - https://sudoapp.com/
* Burner - https://www.burnerapp.com/

Australia Post offers parcel lockers for free (click here for more information)
Parcel lockers are a great way to avoid giving your real address to eCommerce sites that may look a bit dodgy but you need your parcel to arrive.
If the site you are signing up for does not need to send you something, then don't give them your address.
''Advantages:''
* Reduced risk of address being identified by hackers.

[[Back->Tools]] ### Finding if your information has been stolen
Forewarned is forearmed. Knowing what information is already out online is a vital first step in taking control of your digital life.
have i been pwned? Is a site owned by an Australian that is aimed at collecting the details from as many data breaches as possible so that people can find out if their information has been hacked. You can visit the website here.
You can search based on your email address and quickly see which of your accounts has been part of a data breach.
If you find any accounts have been part of a breach, then the first step will be to log in to those accounts and either update your password or delete the account if it is no longer needed. We will go through the best way to update passwords in the next section of this video.
